Planet

The environment is our most precious asset. We must endeavor to not only protect it, but where possible actively enhance it.
A key aspiration for both The Red Sea and Amaala is achieving a 30 percent net conservation benefit by 2040 through the protection and enhancement of key habitats crucial to biodiversity. We regularly conduct environmental surveys of wildlife ecosystems to track impacts and improvements, to optimize our approach and ensure we reach our regenerative goals. We are not just setting ambitious targets, but actively measuring our progress against them.
We are inspired by the power of technological innovation to drive sustainable development at a never-before-seen scale. We are not afraid to draw on experimental and new solutions to solve the complex challenges we face.
The Red Sea and Amaala will be run with 100 percent renewable energy 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, all of which will be generated by solar power and underpinned by the largest battery storage facility in the world to guarantee supply at night-time.
