Our portfolio includes two world-leading destinations announced by HRH Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, The Red Sea and Amaala. Collectively, these responsible and regenerative tourism destinations will aim to enhance Saudi Arabia’s luxury tourism and sustainability offering, going above and beyond to not only protect the natural environment, but to enhance it for future generations to come.
A cornerstone of Vision 2030, RSG will help transform the nation, creating significant economic opportunities for the people of Saudi Arabia and actively enhancing the Kingdom’s rich environmental and cultural heritage.
Turning Commitment into action
We set sights on becoming world’s most responsible developer
We hold the utmost respect for the environment in which we operate and recognize it as our most valuable asset. It is our shared obligation to not only safeguard it, but also proactively enhance it wherever possible. The successful opening of our Mangrove Nursery is a testament to that unyielding dedication to the preservation and rejuvenation of the Red Sea coastline
ANNUAL SUSTAINABILITY REPORT
Report unveils new standards in transparency and accountability
Our second annual sustainability report details Red Sea Global's key achievements over the past year and our commitment to transparency and accountability. As the report explores, Red Sea Global continues to be internationally lauded for our leadership in sustainable development as we work toward opening our first three resorts in 2023.
Our team goes above and beyond to protect, enhance, and ensure a sustainable positive impact on our environment and the surrounding local communities and economy. We strive to make a ripple effect here at home and on the travel and luxury tourism industries around the world.
Rescuing Basma the turtle
Watch the incredible moment when we release Basma, the hawksbill sea turtle, back into the Red Sea. We found Basma near Eiqat Rizk Island with ‘floating syndrome’. After help from Fakieh Aquarium and the Saudi National Center for Wildlife, she’s now back to full health.
Largest landscape nursery in the Middle East
Operated by 45 Saudis from the local community, our million-square-meter landscape nursery is the largest in the Middle East and will provide 25 million plants for The Red Sea and Amaala, supporting our 30% net conservation value target.
WILDLIFE & ECOSYSTEM STUDY
Red Sea coastline explored in comprehensive wildlife and ecosystem study
See the findings of one of the world’s largest environmental surveys of wildlife ecosystems conducted by a developer, carried out along 250 kilometers of Red Sea coastline.
The comprehensive study covers natural ecosystems and species across the areas of our two flagship destinations – The Red Sea and AMAALA.
Sustainability Champion
Pioneering sustainability in the Middle East
Our sustainability goals are both ambitious and necessary, as we find ourselves in one of the most decisive decades in global history for protecting and restoring the planet. Action is urgently needed, and I believe that development can – and must – do better when it comes to impact on natural resources and habitats.

The world’s most inspirational companies think, act, and communicate in line with their purpose from the inside out – it is in the DNA of every decision. At The Red Sea Global, our purpose is to enhance the environment that we are developing, and to regenerate for future generations. To do this, we must push the boundaries in everything we do so that we can set new standards in regenerative tourism. We know that this will provide the foundations of unforgettable experiences for the guests who will come to our site. We also hope that it will set a world-leading precedent.
changing the world through the well-being of employees
HAYAH Program embeds a culture of wellbeing
The Red Sea Global wellness program, HAYAH, the Arabic word for “life,” comprises three core pillars: Mental and Emotional, Nutrition and Physical Fitness, and Movement to support our colleagues’ holistic wellbeing. The program also aligns with the health targets and goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Quality-of-life Program.
Adopting a culture of wellness is now seen as the default, not the exception
Corporate wellness programs have the power to change the world through the well-being of employees.
