Riyadh, 07 Jan 2024: Red Sea Global (RSG), the visionary developer behind the world's most ambitious regenerative tourism destinations, The Red Sea and Amaala, is celebrating the opening of its second resort at The Red Sea destination. The St. Regis Red Sea Resort is situated on the pristine Ummahat Island in the Al Wajh Lagoon, creating an enchanting getaway for discerning travelers.

Designed by renowned architect Kengo Kuma with interiors by Kristina Zanic Consultants, the resort pays homage to the surrounding coral reefs, marine life, and sand dunes. The interior spaces and furnishings feature organic forms with soft curves and spiral shapes, while fabrics are natural and tactile, reflecting the desert-inspired color palette infused with blue and green tones from the local biodiversity. The contemporary interiors are accentuated with bespoke elements, including custom furniture, marble, and woodwork.

The resort offers a range of fitness and wellness activities to cater to guests' needs, including a fully equipped gym, an outdoor lap pool and vitality pool, paddle and tennis courts, and sunrise and sunset yoga sessions. Personal training sessions and nutritional consultations further enhance the holistic well-being experience. Additionally, through the brand's Family Traditions program, The St. Regis Red Sea Resort ensures that every aspect of a family vacation is meticulously crafted, providing an unforgettable and inclusive experience for all guests.

The resort showcases RSG’s dedication to blending luxury, sustainability, and local heritage seamlessly. With the opening of The St. Regis Red Sea Resort, the company looks forward to providing an unparalleled experience for its guests while showcasing the beauty of Saudi Arabia.

With this opening, RSG increased the operating assets to two resorts, with Six Senses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea, opening to guests last year. Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, is now preparing to welcome its first guests. These resorts can be reached via Red Sea International (RSI) airport and will be joined over the next 18 months by another 21 resorts across The Red Sea and AMAALA destinations.
