Design Competition For a Sustainable Future

Ecotecture Design Competition offered students of architecture schools in Saudi universities a unique opportunity to contribute to its luxury project by submitting innovative architectural and urban design solutions for the project’s community center located in the coastal village.

The innovative solutions will be implemented as part of our efforts to aesthetically design the coastal village components while adhering to enhanced sustainability principles and contribute to the project’s ecosystem.

Submissions are now closed and judging is in progress.

Objectives

Create opportunities for Saudi talents to participate in the development of a world-class tourism destination.

Contribute to the development of the hospitality and luxury eco-tourism industry.

Provide an incentive for young and experienced designers to communicate and share their creative designs and solutions.

Preserve the architectural and urban character of the project by incorporating authentic designs.

The program covers the following: 

 

  • Tuition fees 
  • Study tool kit (if needed), books, and uniforms 
  • SAR 1,000 monthly stipend during the English Program for 4 months only 
  • SAR 2,000 monthly stipend during the Vocational Training Program for 18 months only 
  • Access to RSG Students Enrichment Program and its activities 
  • Employment in beginner hospitality roles upon successful completion of the program 

Your role will be identified based on the track you choose and the operator you work with after graduation. However, all graduates will have entry-level jobs upon graduation.

The program has already commenced for this year on August 24, 2025.  

 

Registrations will be open again next year. The application process usually starts a month prior to the program’s beginning. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements and future opportunities to join our community of tourism experts.

All students during the English and Vocational Training phases of the program will receive a monthly stipend.

 

Students are required to arrange their own accommodations and transportation to and from the school. All students during the English language and Vocational Training phases of the program will receive a monthly stipend.

This program is designed for high school graduates. However, qualified applicants with higher degrees who wish to join the program are welcome to apply.
