Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 14 October 2026: Red Sea Global (RSG), the regenerative tourism developer, has announced the opening of Raffles The Red Sea, marking the arrival of the globally recognized brand at The Red Sea destination.
Raffles The Red Sea combines contemporary design, highly personalized service and experiences inspired by its coastal setting, creating a refined island retreat that reflects the character of the Red Sea.
“The opening of Raffles The Red Sea marks another significant milestone in the evolution of The Red Sea destination. Raffles’ heritage of distinguished service and elegance makes it a strong addition to our growing portfolio, further strengthening the breadth and quality of our hospitality offering on Shura Island. As we continue to expand our hospitality portfolio, we remain focused on creating distinctive experiences while delivering on our commitment to regenerative development,”
Raffles The Red Sea comprises 168 keys, including 121 rooms, 14 suites and 33 private villas. Designed to provide views across the lagoon or Red Sea, the rooms combine contemporary design with the brand’s legendary service and attention to detail.
The 33 villas form Raffles Residences The Red Sea, a limited collection of one- to four-bedroom homes set within the natural beauty of the Red Sea. Designed by Foster + Partners, with interiors by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, each residence embraces its island setting through private pools, spacious indoor and outdoor living areas, and views across the lagoon or Red Sea.
Dining at Raffles The Red Sea spans five distinctive venues, offering a range of culinary experiences. Ni’ma serves Eastern Mediterranean cuisine, while Siparaja offers a Singaporean dining experience inspired by Peranakan heritage. Anbara brings French patisserie craft together with Arabian notes, while El Nay offers Pan-Arabic bites and refreshments by the sea. The Pool Bar & Grill provides relaxed dining alongside the water.
Guests can look forward to a dedicated spa and wellness sanctuary, featuring seven indoor treatment rooms, a vitality pool, hammam, separate women’s beauty stations and men’s grooming stations, as well as an outdoor lap pool, all designed to offer restorative escape.
Located on Shura Island, Raffles The Red Sea is within easy reach of the marina and retail area, as well as the Shura Links golf course. The resort is a short drive from Red Sea International Airport, with Botanica Red Sea and ADRENA, a sports and adventure district, accessible within the wider destination.
With guests already welcomed at resorts including InterContinental, SLS, The EDITION, Four Seasons, and Miraval, and five additional resorts set to open in the coming months, Red Sea Global continues to expand its hospitality portfolio while advancing its commitment to regenerative tourism and creating long-term value for people and the planet.
