Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 3 September 2026: Red Sea Global (RSG), the regenerative tourism developer, has announced the opening of Equinox Resort AMAALA, marking Equinox’s second hotel globally and its first outside the United States. Located at the Marina Village in Triple Bay, the resort brings Equinox’s distinctive approach of performance luxury to recovery to AMAALA.

The resort features 128 rooms and suites across six accommodation categories, including two penthouse suites, alongside 21 branded residences. Designed by Foster + Partners, with interiors by Rockwell Group, the resort draws inspiration from the natural features of the Red Sea landscape, including its coastline, marine environment, and surrounding mountains.

"The opening of Equinox Resort AMAALA introduces a distinctive new dimension to the destination’s wellness offering. Equinox has built a global reputation around high-performance living, and bringing that expertise to AMAALA reinforces our ambition to create a destination where wellness, sport and luxury come together in a truly differentiated way,"

Equinox Resort AMAALA brings the brand’s integrated ecosystem of movement, nutrition, regeneration, and community to the Red Sea coast, creating an experience designed to support physical performance, recovery, and overall wellbeing.

The resort will feature 704 sqm of indoor and outdoor training space, the largest fitness facility in AMAALA, as part of a broader performance and regeneration experience. Guest rooms are conceived as environments for deep recovery, informed by Equinox Hotels’ sleep science platform, with circadian lighting calibrated to support the body’s internal clock, advanced acoustic isolation designed to minimize sleep disruption, and precision climate control engineered to support optimal rest.

The resort’s 1,602 sqm spa is anchored by proprietary Equinox X Circuit, a seven-circuit, high-tech, high-touch regeneration experience designed to move guests through a progressive journey of recovery and renewal. The spa combines advanced treatments and technologies including cryotherapy, infrared sauna, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, hydrotherapy and contrast temperature therapies, creating a highly personalized approach to regeneration that is both science-led and deeply restorative.

Guests will also have access to four outdoor swimming pools, including a lap pool, leisure pools, and a rooftop magnesium salt pool overlooking Triple Bay, the AMAALA Marina and AMAALA Yacht Club.
