New initiative with the Human Resources Development Fund offers 500 seats for RSG vocational training program in multiple tracks

Red Sea Global (RSG), the world’s most ambitious regenerative tourism projects, The Red Sea and Amaala, is partnering with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) to deliver high-quality vocational training programs.

The two years and three months diploma programs will initially prepare 500 young Saudis for careers that support the growth of the most promising tourism destination. The programs are focused on the following disciplines: Hospitality, Airport Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy Services.

"HRDF share our ambition to support local Saudi talents discover rewarding careers. Through this partnership, we are creating a significant pipeline of qualified local professionals, with the right skills and resources needed to establish a new and successful tourism sector in the Kingdom".
Said John Pagano, Group CEO of RSG.

In addition, HRDF and RSG signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cooperate on future initiatives to support the development of the local human capital.

“These initiatives are set to provide a long-term contribution to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Vision 2030, equipping young Saudis with the knowledge and expertise needed to start a rewarding journey towards a successful career. We’re looking forward to getting started with RSG and onboarding the first students to the vocational training program very soon.”
Turki Aljawini, Director General Saudi of HRDF

The program will open-up a wide range of job opportunities for those involved, such as guest relations, concierge services, restaurant chefs, renewable energy technicians and security operations mechanics. It is also supported by high quality training providers.

“Our people are at the heart of all we do here, and we are extremely proud that so far we have built a workforce that is made up of over 50 percent local talent. We are already seeing the success of previous initiatives, such as our Elite Graduate Program, and we can’t wait to welcome our new recruits and watch them excel,”
added Pagano.

The partnership with HRDF follows a series of previous steps taken by RSG to create opportunities for local people and communities. Earlier this year, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between RSG and Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) which promises the creation of 1,300 local jobs in Saudi Arabia.

The developer also launched the second edition of its annual Elite Graduate Program earlier this year, offering a range of career paths. The program was initially designed and launched in 2020, offering 29 young Saudis on-the-job training at the company’s headquarters in Riyadh, with roles in departments such as sustainability, hospitality, marketing and business development.

Online registration for The Red Sea Vocational Training Programs will be announced soon, through RSG’s website and official social media platforms.
