This program is designed to prepare students for future jobs by providing a curriculum that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application. Upon successful completion, Red Sea Global and its partners will seek to provide job opportunities to suitable and qualified graduates.

OVERVIEW

Red Sea Global (RSG), in collaboration with the University of Tabuk’s College of Hospitality & Tourism in Al Wajh, has launched The Red Sea Hospitality Pioneers program to train and employ local talent in the tourism and hospitality sector. The program will last for two years and three months, after which students will obtain an intermediate diploma from Tabuk University, accredited by Hong Kong Polytechnic University. This program is designed to prepare students for future jobs by providing a curriculum that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application.

Upon successful completion, Red Sea Global and its partners will seek to provide job opportunities to suitable and qualified graduates.

PROGRAM'S TRACKS

Diploma in Hospitality Management

Students will gain knowledge and skills to help them succeed with careers in luxury hospitality services covering all aspects from sales and customer services to using policies and procedures to ensure proper and smooth operations.

Diploma in Food and Beverage Management

Students will learn a range of operational skills including purchasing ingredients and developing menus and preparing, presenting and serving food and beverages.

How to apply

Select your preferred track

Applicants will have the option to select one of the two tracks (Diploma in Hospitality Management, Diploma in Food and Beverage Management). University of Tabuk and Red Sea Global will place the applicants according to the selected preference and seats availability.

Send required documents

Enter the program information page and submit a new application on Tabuk University’s electronic admission portal. All required documents must be uploaded as requested. Applications missing any required documents will not be considered.

Interviews

Successful application is determined competitively according to the complex admission criteria and according to the order of desires, the available seats. all interviews will be conducted face to face in Al Wajh. Further details will be shared once candidates are selected.

Acceptance to the program

The applicant must follow the online portal to see the result of the nomination and the initial and final acceptance.

The program covers the following: - A monthly stipend for the duration of the program - Training with Red Sea Global or one of its partners - An opportunity for distinguished training at Hong Kong Polytechnic University - Employment at the Red Sea destination or one of its partners and operators - An accredited certificate from Hong Kong Polytechnic University
Applicant must: - Be a Saudi nationality or child of a Saudi mother - Have a high school diploma or its equivalent from inside or outside the Kingdom - Secure a certificate equivalency issued by the Certificate Equivalency Committee at the Ministry of Education if the secondary certificate is from abroad - Hold a high school degree (as a full-time student) - Hold a high school certificate that has not passed for more than five years, i.e. the certificate must have been issued in the academic year 2016-17. - Not be more than 25 years old, meaning born in 1997 and later - Have achieved 50% or more on the academic achievement test (the available score will be approved during application). - Have achieved 50% or more on the general aptitude test (the available score will be approved during application) - Have taken the general aptitude and academic tests no more than five years ago - Scores of both tests will be extracted from Qiyas Center - Not have been expelled from any university for an academic or disciplinary dismissal - Bear responsibility for the correctness of the data, and the acceptance is considered void if proven otherwise - Be responsible for following up the admission procedures through the university’s website and the university’s official social media
- The English language proficiency test score shall not be less than 50% or its equivalent from other standardized tests (the available score will be approved during application) - The validity of English language proficiency test scores is three years and equivalent tests are two years - The applicant must pass all the personal interviews before or after admission to the program - The applicant must agree to work in one of the projects of Red Sea Global or one of its partners for a period of no less than three years after graduation - The applicant is required to pass the two-semester English language program to continue in the specialization
Your role will be identified based on the track you choose and the operator you work with after graduation. However, all students will have entry-level jobs upon graduation.
The program begins on August 28, 2022 corresponding to Safar 1, 1444 AH. The application process will open from August 16 to August 18.
All students during all phases of the program will receive a monthly stipend supported by Red SeaGlobal.
This program is designed for high school graduates. However, qualified applicants who have higher degrees and wish to join the program are welcome to apply. If you have any inquiries, please send them through the University of Tabuk website www.ut.edu.sa
